Rookery Wolds wedding
I recently had the pleasure of shooting a wonderful wedding in Lincolnshire of two amazing people, and I’ve never had so much fun before. Emma and Matthew’s summer wedding in Lincolnshire was an excellent experience for me. I had a pleasant time with these two in London, where we discussed their beautiful day’s details. Emma and Matthew are so kind and funny that it was difficult for me to focus on photography only!
I’m delighted that they chose me as the wedding photographer. We found a common language, and everything went very smoothly. Everything was great, but unfortunately, all the unfortunate events changed their plan for a wedding in Poland, and all of them moved to England.
Wedding at Rookery Wolds
Let me tell you about this beautiful day. I woke up in the morning, had a quick breakfast and was on the road to the beautiful wedding of Emma and Matthew. 5 hours later, I arrived at the location, and everything was ready. First, I quickly hopped over to the groom’s house, where I met his entire family and embraced the super cool photos of his preparations. Matthew felt very relaxed and didn’t care about anything on that day.
Then I went to the bride, where her family and friends were waiting for me already. The preparations, ceremony and wedding took place at the same place. A quick hello to everyone. The girls were very relaxed and did not care about my presence. I felt comfortable. I was able to take some cool shots. They were very friendly and smiled at me. It was lovely to talk to them and see how happy they were.
The ceremony was outside in front of a beautiful garden with many flowers, trees and bushes. The beautiful weather was also good for us. Both of them looked wonderful. Everyone was laughing, crying, and the whole atmosphere was just incredible.
After the ceremony, it was time for some group pictures with all the guests. When I had finished taking pictures, it was time for dinner, but first, we took pictures of Emma and Marius before they went in to eat dinner.
The wedding was a beautiful one, and both of them felt great during the wedding pictures. It was finally time when they could stay alone, look at each other, talk for a while, and enjoy each other’s company.
“You look amazing,” he said as they walked along down the venue.
She laughed lightly. “Really? You don’t think I look too fat?”
“No way!” he replied quickly. “You’re perfect.”
They looked into each other’s eyes and kissed gently once more before going for dinner.

Dinner and dancing took place in a tent. The evening was warm and pleasant, but there was a breeze blowing. The band played all kinds of music, from a waltz to a tango. Everyone was jumping for joy. Super fun, and it was great. I also showed them how to do a proper catwalk, and they loved it! It was so much fun to work with Matthew and Emma. They were so easy going and full of ideas. The beautiful venue, the great light and the perfect location made it all possible.
Emma and Matthew’s wedding was wholly magical, and I will remember it for a long time. The love and energy of this wonderful couple were very infectious. It was an honour to participate in their beautiful day and be their wedding photographer who managed to capture their love.
