Merton Chapel Oxford wedding
I have a wonderful love story I would like to tell you. Christina and Henry’s Merton Chapel Oxford wedding was absolutely wonderful day and not only for these two.
Literally 2 months before their wedding, Christina called me to ask if their date was still available and if I could be their photographer. We immediately jumped into a video chat where we had the opportunity to get to know each other better. I can honestly say that I did not expect such a quick response, from the very beginning we found a common language, so we were able to communicate super cool and agree on all the details related to their wonderful day. So, it was like this, the date was sealed!
So, let me tell you how this day went! As always, I got up in the morning, packed up my bag and went to the car. 2 hours later I arrived at the site. It was a magical and magnificent place that sent a little shiver through me. Wonderful church in which you could see the great history of his and more. I was very excited, but I was also very nervous because it was my first time shooting in this church, I did not know what to expect.
First Henry’s preparations. Usual and simple, at total ease because that’s how it should be. There even was a bottle of whiskey, which we all tried- as they say, just for the little stress that was visible in Henry. Finally, a moment to himself where he managed to write a beautiful letter to his future wife, which was then presented to her just before the ceremony.
The preparations of both of them were in the same place which was awesome, so everything went smoothly. Of course, they both took care of my condition that day, for which I was very grateful. Hahaha !!! Henry looked stunning in his suit and tie – his smile was so bright and cheerful – he’s really was happy with this day!

Christina and her family were waiting for me in the other room, just on the other side of collage and as soon as I entered the room I felt a super cool atmosphere. I could hear them laughing and talking while preparing for the ceremony. “I’m so happy that you all came here today to celebrate my family, my marriage and my happiness,” Christina said to her guests while they were enjoying the drinks.
The bride looked gorgeous in her beautiful white dress, but she was not the only one who stole the show. Her bridesmaids were also dressed up for the occasion and they looked stunning as well. The bride’s father escorted her down the aisle, which was a sweet moment for all of them. After all, it’s not every day that you get to see your little girl get married. Meanwhile, there were quite a few guests in attendance at the wedding ceremony and each one of them had their camera ready to capture this important moment on film.
The ceremony took place in the beautiful Merton College Chapel. The whole place was stunning and the ceremony was simply beautiful and emotional. You could see with the naked eye that each of the guests even laughed and cried at certain points. I can honestly say that it was quite personal. My favourite part of this ceremony was when they walked down the aisle together hand in hand towards each other: it just made me smile seeing them so happy together!
After the wedding ceremony and after the confetti photos, which I just love, everyone went to the garden where there were appetizers and drinks for everyone. Finally, a moment of relaxation for everyone. Believe me but this was not the end of the day because Christina and Henry had one more big surprise for everyone.
To get to the venue where the dinner was to be held, dances and more, you had to take a boat and run down the river. Yes, of course, all this was prepared by a couple much earlier so everyone already knew about it but let me tell you honestly, it was an awesome feeling and a very good experience.

The venue took place in Isis River Farmhouse. As a photographer, I love to capture all the details of the event. The venue looked beautiful, everything worked out in detail. As soon as Christina and Henry arrived to the venue, the games started, then dinner and finally the long-awaited dance floor. Yes, I love to show off and jump in on the dance floor to show some awesome moves. Just love it!!!
Christina and Henry’s Merton Chapel Oxford wedding was magical. I will definitely remember it for a long time. Through the wonderful decorations to the crazy dances, every moment of this beautiful day was filled with love, joy and happiness. It was such an honour being able to capture these moments for them!
